Jesus H Tap Dancing Christ... I have to write a six thousand word paper on Stalin and the Russian Revolution. As a focus, I foolishly decided to make my research subject on Stalin's political philosophy and explore the ethics of his philosophy (which means have to spend a few thousand words talking about Ethics and specifically Utilitarianism.)

As a religious person, I find this utterly disgusting. These morons are really making other religious groups look bad. I would personally take each and every protester to a back ally and shoot him execution style.

So I started looking into Friedrich Nietzsche's works after playing Xenogears and Xenosaga, and I was about 10 minutes into Also sprach Zarathustra: Ein Buch für Alle und Keinen when it started to bore the bloody hell out of me. Rather than using philosophical ideas and concepts to tell a story like Xenogears and Xenosaga did, it seemed to instead just use the character Zarathustra as a mouthpiece for the author's own ideas, and have him move around and lecture different people on different concepts such as The Overman (or Superman as it was called in the translation I used). So would you say that all of the novels written by the great philosophers are like that Vene or are there any that like Xenogears and Xenosaga, use them to actually tell the story in an engaging manner? I've heard some good things about Fyodor Dostoyevsky and Franz Kafka but just wanted to check with other people first.

Camus is my favorite when it comes to novels and philosophical themes, but yes very little philosophy is presented well in a narrative form.

I don't know what's worse - the courts backing religious intolerance and complete disrespect for our fallen soldiers, or the fact that a grieving father has to pay them.

Sadly enough, I didn't even need to click the link to know which group it was. **** the Westboro Baptist Church. They came to San Diego to protest gay acceptance and Judaism. Who the **** does that? They are evil and malicious people.
