Well, close to that. Anyhoo he's saying that with JEdi Knight Ki-Adi-Mundi sitting right across the room from him. I think thats when Mace looks at Ki-Adi-Mundi, turns to Anakin and is like "STFU *****, take a seat!"

Well, Mundi was made a Master within a few days of taking his seat, wasn't he?

No. He was a Jedi Knight when he was on the order i nTPM. I think they made him a Master i nRots. just in time to die.

I know he was a Jedi Knight on the council though in TPM. I have a book saying that he was.

Ki-Adi-Mundi took his seat in 33 BBY, a year before TPM. Within a few months, he had trained A'Sharad Hett to the best of his ability, then was granted the rank of Master upon giving Hett to the Dark Woman for further training.

He was a Master very soon after taking his seat.

But he was still for a time, a Jedi Knight while on the council. So why is Anakin saying that it was "unheard of" to be a Jedi Knight on the council?
