I flipped through a couple of cutscenes of Jedi Alliance, a video game for the Nintendo DS. I'm going to have to add evil Nightsister b1tch and powerhouse Sai Surcu to the list of badasses. She Force-pwns Ventress and Dooku simultaneously (she did kinda catch them off guard) and takes on Mace and Anakin at once (though they kill her).

I finished the trilogy a week ago. The final book wasn't as good,in my opinion, but the Luke/Mara romance kept getting better.

It might have been some last ditch effort to kill Anakin and Mace, or it may have simply been the result of her death, as in the case of Palpatine, Shaak Ti, Joruus C'baoth, etc.

Blank captured the essence of the L/M relationship very well; the passion, the struggle, etc. They've been my favorite canon couple for years.

The final chapter, in which Leia dumps Palpatine's ashes in front of Luke actually brought tears to my eyes.
