At least I can honestly say that is something I will never do.

I can't say for certain, but I'd speculate that Gideon once thought the same thing, hence his rather long hiatus from the forums before his first (and only?) attempt at socking.

The moral of the story? Never underestimate the power of boredom.

The "three years ago" thing makes sense if it's Rudy. Good on his acting skills though: either what we see now is an attempt at a mask, or the dillhole we knew before was all just a ploy.

For whatever that served...

I'm thinking about installing Knights of the Old Republic on my PC and giving it a go again.

I don't know if my heart can take it, though. I've gone through that game 4 damn times, and every time I got about 12 hours in before some retarded bug makes it unplayable.

Has anyone played it on the Xbox? IS it more... stable?

I have both games for the original Xbox, and they're very stable. Less so for the second game, but still good. And just in case, don't try it in a 360, it does this weird glitch with the audio that pauses it for a millisecond every few seconds.

I have the same problem. It's completely unplayable on PC (esp. since my video card fried :/)

Also, do I have any takers on nowyouremember being DarkSerpent?

Hmmm. I have an original X-Box laying around somewhere.

Meh, it's not worth the effort to dig it out though.

it's not really that good a game, if we judge it by our usual criteria for judging a game.

I enjoyed the RPG aspects of it. Bioware makes my favorite RPG's.

I hate the tiny tiny tiny number of side-quests. Maybe I'm spoiled by Fallout.

Oh god. **** Fallout, hahaha. That's a game with too much ****ing side quests. Halfway through the game I was like "Wait. What's my characters motivation for doing any of this?"

Fallout and Elder Scrolls aren't good role playing games. They're just good games.

haha, that's a good point. Its an existence game. Live from moment to moment.

I didn't like Morrowind, and had the same problems with Oblivion. I just don't see the appeal.

I played Morrowind after Oblivion, but the terrible graphics stopped me before I even got past the initial tutorial. In 2006, Oblivion was (and still is) a beautifully drawn game. The size of the world and the potential it promised really drew me in. But 5 years later I've lost interest in it, the flaws have really become apparent now.

Fingers crossed for Skyrim.

Silver is at $39.50... BIIIIIIIG profits.

An ounce? I have 50, might sell it.

I have over 350. Why would you sell a precious metal? You'll see it go up $100+/oz in the near future. Best hedge against inflation.

I would sell because I didn't buy it. Pure profit, no matter the price.

And its good to be back, Bandon still kicking everyones ass?
