It makes perfect sense Cap has similar agility feats to Spiderman and is a much better fighter. I cant remember which fights but hes made Spiderman look like a chump twice.

Martial artists can be great friends that doesnt mean that when they get in the ring to fight each other they let themselves get beaten. Hell on one ocassion Spiderman was pissed off and wanted to cave Caps head in.
The only problem is that Shang Chi, Taskmaster, Dardevil etc have done well against Spiderman...oh yeah and Black Panther. Spiderman really looks up to Black Panther as well. 🙄

Believe me-in Marvel 616 continuety, the symbiote didn't increase Spidermans powers at all. It was only shown to augment him in cartoons and the Spiderman 3 movie, none of which are canon. It did make its own webs however.
