Sorry.
I am saying that right off the bat because I tried to read the post but there are so many people giving opinions, that i had to jump to the end to air my thoughts. Here are just a few thoughts on the travesty, oops, i mean movie:You break all my toys, I'm not going to invite you to play anymore.
Who the hell decided to go all buffy and kill the whole damned cast off??? This is moronic. We have already covered the fact that the order of introduction is way wrong as compared to comic and cartoons, but to kill off 3 of the original X-Men? dumb
We call it VERSIONS.
1.
Comics [which also have a lot of Alternate Versions, yet nobody consider one of which is wrong when compared to others because we UNDERSTAND that they are VERSIONS]
2.
The Animated Series [which also introduces characters who are different from the Comics - Morph, for example]
3.
Evolution [teenage version]
4.
Movies [well, what could you expect - Movie Version]
I don't read comics but even in the comics... Everyone has died.

I did like how they made it appear that beast, again another original, is old school and that he still has his costume at the mansion. Makes up for the part three appearance some what.Got to be said: I wanted to see the entire "de-bluing" of Mystique. 😱
Comments similar as stated above.

OK...that last line jumps me to the end of the movie. They were on the Island where the "cure" was made....they loose Mystique to a dart, stop Magneto with darts... 4 btw....and no one thinks that this is the way to stop jean???
Actually, everybody thought so. Remember the supposed-to-be hundreds of "darts" to be shot to Jean? The FACT, at least, remains that NO ONE CAN STOP HER [the Phoenix]... except Jean Grey herself.

Lets see, using that power scale level that we are shown in this movie... Jean is a Level 5 mutant...what is Mags? Level 4? 4.5??? What is Mystique? I ask because if one can shut down Mystique, and 4 has Mags slowly getting his powers back...then 8 would at least give the Phoenix a hangover.
Jean is a Class 5 mutant, which is apparently equivalent to Omega-Level. Powerful telepath. As stated in my comment above, the "hangover" thing has no sense at all.

Did you notice that wolvie never meets the Nix-kid? (Sorry don't know the name of the boy who cancels powers... BTW...this was something that I joked about since part one... they need to find a Mutant that cancels mutant powers so that Rogue can get her freak on... but to late..she took the mutant anti-viagra injection. No chance to see her fly or get super strong.) If Wolvie did meet him he wouldn't be able to heal....that would be funny...extend claws.....OWWWWWWW....its bleeding....got a band-aid?
Leech, as far as I can remember [correct me if I'm wrong], already appeared in the previous X-Men movie along with the rest of the kids. The FACT however, as far as Leech's power is concerned, is that his disrupting ability [negating powers of others] is only for TEMPORARY. Rogue wanted her power to be cancelled out FOREVER so she could touch, hug, and kiss her loved ones. This shows also that the Cure has a temporary effect and still hope for Rogue and Mystique to have their powers back.
