sorry didnt say everything cause if people havent seen it and yet his it gives the film away...
yeah i have it on dvd,but yeah it does firish after we see Magneto playing Chess.
Professor Charles' consciousness transferred to Wolverine for the meantime since he was the last person Charles has gazed upon.
Later, probably in a WOLVERINE movie [in my opinion], Charles will instruct Wolverine to contact Dr. Moira McTaggert who appeared in the movie with a lying body and also at the post credit scene. When Wolverine could finally meet Dr. Moira and the body, Charles could have chance to transfer his consciousness from Wolverine to the body.
Where would this be? Muir Island? So, it would also be possible that the sequel would feature the Excalibur mutants.
Great chances to see more mutants like: Capt. Britain, Meggan, Banshee, the return of the Nightcrawler, etc.

For some reason whenever I heard "The Wolverine Movie" it never occurred to me that's it's more than likely we'll see other mutants in it. That right there would be the only reason I'd go to see "The Wolverine Movie"

It's my understanding that "Wolverine" is going to be more about the weapon X program and his origin. I could imagine some flash forwards or maybe the whole movie as a flashback so as to tell some of the story where x3 left off. But of the things posted so far. Wolverine is gonna be about the past before x-men.

I am saying that right off the bat because I tried to read the post but there are so many people giving opinions, that i had to jump to the end to air my thoughts. Here are just a few thoughts on the travesty, oops, i mean movie:

Who the hell decided to go all buffy and kill the whole damned cast off??? This is moronic. We have already covered the fact that the order of introduction is way wrong as compared to comic and cartoons, but to kill off 3 of the original X-Men? dumb
I did like how they made it appear that beast, again another original, is old school and that he still has his costume at the mansion. Makes up for the part three appearance some what.
Got to be said: I wanted to see the entire "de-bluing" of Mystique. 😱
OK...that last line jumps me to the end of the movie. They were on the Island where the "cure" was made....they loose Mystique to a dart, stop Magneto with darts... 4 btw....and no one thinks that this is the way to stop jean??? Lets see, using that power scale level that we are shown in this movie... Jean is a Level 5 mutant...what is Mags? Level 4? 4.5??? What is Mystique? I ask because if one can shut down Mystique, and 4 has Mags slowly getting his powers back...then 8 would at least give the Phoenix a hangover.
Did you notice that wolvie never meets the Nix-kid? (Sorry don't know the name of the boy who cancels powers... BTW...this was something that I joked about since part one... they need to find a Mutant that cancels mutant powers so that Rogue can get her freak on... but to late..she took the mutant anti-viagra injection. No chance to see her fly or get super strong.) If Wolvie did meet him he wouldn't be able to heal....that would be funny...extend claws.....OWWWWWWW....its bleeding....got a band-aid?
I really hated this movie...i am a fan and I have had to swallow a lot thru the 1st 2 movies..this is that kid from camp all over again....you know the one...where your doing the "pass it on" horror story, and it comes to that kid and since he sucks at telling stories he just kills everyone off so that you can go to bed. Yeah, that punkass.
I will ***** until i feel better. As I said before...sorry. But this was an anticipated movie for me and I feel like someone salt Petered my wedding night.

Plus Wolverines movie is going to be a seperate movie from the X-Men movies. It's going to have nothing to do with any those storylines. It's before he met up with them, not necessarily before the X-Men, just before he met them. So how can it also have Flashbacks(going even FARTHER BACK) dealing with what happened AFTER X3? Impossible.
