Very nice Digi if I could go back I would change the Juggernaut respect thread to look just like this one.Thats probably the best compliment I can give on a Respect thread.
😄
Thanks. If only the Authority had more comics....the only shortcoming is that between 7 of them, there's less available feats than for most regular characters.
But I like to "front-load" my respect threads (the Spidey one I did is the same way). I'll add more scans as new comics come out, but it's nice to be able to see 90% of the stuff on page 1 without having to hunt for it.

Right. And in this case, there's still a lot of people who know nothing about the Authority. Lots of threads are just excuses for fanboys to flock to their character's best feats and talk about them (I admit to being partially guilty with the Spidey one as well), but in this case I feel like at least a few people will know more about the Authority because of me.
And I deliberately tried to be less biased than usual. Swift's not too impressive, so I didn't post much for her. And to be honest, the only time I can remember the Authority legitimately getting owned was by Seth (and I still don't understand why Jeroen couldn't turn him into flowers). So I wasn't avoiding posting embarassing losses for them to make them seem sweeter (like I had to occasionally with Spidey...especially with some of his early issues...ASM 1-50 aren't terribly flattering for him).

To tell the truth I'm wasn't very familiar with the Authority. I knew they were pretty strong but I had didn't realize what they were capable of until I saw this thread so you succeded in your goal.
I bring donations!
First, the page prior to the one I commented on. Seems you where right.
A pretty funny Doctor feat, too.
And now, Jack verus evil Kansas.
First, WHAT Jack is fighting.
Oh no! A full air strike force isn't even denting it!
After literally hundreds of super humans attack it, Jenny takes her shot.
Which does...Jack all.
Why, its Tokyo! And its totally owning a genocidal global threat!
And thus, Jack walks into the sunset, where pretty much every superhuman of the day failed.
And, later, the molecular blades from Angie.

Not sure if its stuff you have already posted but whatever...
The entire Cpt. Atom arc was amazingly suspect (and that's being nice). The writer's obviously knew nothing about the Wildstorm universe. Not only were characters not written to scale power-wise, but they were totally off on a lot of the characters' personalities as well. Various sites have found dozens of continuity errors with the series as well, showing that none of the writers did their homework. It was basically an extended Cpt. Atom fanboy orgasm with no regard for the continuity of WS.
If you liked it, that's cool, but I'm rather ashamed that it happened.

Most of it overlaps, but it actually has a few feats that I left out, so it's worth a look for MN'er enthusiants.

Yes, there were some continuity errors in WS, however you're going overboard, Digi.

No he's not. Referring to it as simply suspect was actually incredibly generous on his part. I prefer the term "piece of shit" myself. That's not a dig on CA either but why should a guy who clearly knows squat about the WS universe and characters get to write the story that reboots their universe? That'd be like golem370 writing Infinite Crisis.
You think it was written for Captain Atom "fanboy orgasm?" That's overboard...
