Wow. I've never even picked up a comic featuring energy Supes. He's a lot more powerful than I thought. He's kinda like a GL, 'cept his body is the ring.

Seriously? Superboy Primes retcon punch is what they used to explain the anomaly. 😆

Before that, it was never clear. Superman tried his first "sundip" to try and regain his powers after final night and then fought a magical enemy who tried to posses him and may have altered him..etc.

DC couldn't really explain how he came about, or even how he became regular Supes again, so they used Superboy Primes reality altering punches to explain it.

Damn this thread keeps me coming back for more.
