Wi-fi and games

has anyone used wi-fi on the nintendo ds can you tell me what are the benifits and what compatiable games are there?

Mario kart, Metroid prime hunters, Animal crossing are what I know of and the obvious benefit is that you dont have be near your opponent when playing and if you dont have wireless connection at your house, buy a usb wi-fi thingy from nintendo.
