What If?

What if Wall Street didn't crash?

What if the pact that Russia and Germany made to share Poland, actually held and both countries became allies?

What if America DIDN'T enter WW2?

These points could of been the turning point in History and what the world would be like today. If USA didn't enter the war, perhaps the Allies would of been weak if Russia entered the equation by actually siding with Germany in the european conflict. Poland would have been gone in an instant, France would find it difficult to stop Italy, Germany and Russia from an invasion!

What does everyone think of this, and what sort of world would we be living in today?

I think that if Russia has alleid with Germany througout the whole war than the Allies woulda been scrwed. imo....

Yea, think of what Europe would be like? Possibly under a communist rule? or possibly having everyone being watched by spies of the government. a.k.a Big Brother

Well, for one, I don't ever see Communist Russia and National Socialist Germany ever being anything but uneasy allies. It would have only moved the theatre of the Cold War from the U.S versus U.S.S.R. to the Nazis versus the Commies.

That sounds like Grudge Match material.

If the Crash hadn't happened, then Hitler wouldn't have been able to grab power as he did. He'd have no Depression has a stage to take over.

No, the Great War had a hell of a lot more to do with Hitler's rise to power than the stock market did.

Oh yeah. I was gonna say it, but it was some 20 years before WWII, so I figured it didn't fit.

I think it would be cool if there were 3 superpower after WW2. US, Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. Chances are, Hitler and Stalin would be at each other's throat. Imperial Japan and China would still fight each other while the US would retain its isolationist policy . . . . hmm come to think of it, its not a pretty picture.

So in your scenario, who won WW2?

I agree with that point.

As for the scenario Hitler had long saw Russia as an extension to Germany (Living space) there would had been a war between Germany and Russia sooner or latter.
