Sandman is pretty tough. He could hurt guys like Wonder Man and Atlas physically. He battled a class 100 Wonder Man in a radioactive room. Wonder Man said getting hit by Sandman felt like getting hit with a sledge hammer. Unless there's a huge water main that Colossus can break somewhere, or access to some other types of weapons, Sandman will take it more times than not. If it's a slugfest, Sandman can't be hurt physically by Colossus
