Okay. Hungarian ghoulash is a kind of meat stew with a thick gravy that has reddish base, mostly from ketchup and paprika (at least the receipe I have). We eat it with mashed potatoes on the side and vegetables.
The pennsylvania dutch have a version of ghoulash here locally that is ground meat, fried up and drained, then you add in cooked elbow macaroni and stewed tomatoes and let it all cook together. Quite different you see.
