Yep, its a good story.
It turns out that he got his name Logan from his old groundskeeper who killed his father and he then killed him with his claws which came out at that time due to his rage.

No i'm just saying that he is that good because of all the expierience that he has from all of his years of training and fighting and that u guys just see the healing factor and the claws. He has been fighting since the 1800's and has mastered learned every fighting style on earth from special forces tactics to martial arts.

My problem with Wolverine is simply that some people write him beating and matching people he has NO business logically competing with.
That, and he is written inconsistently. At some points, he can dodge bullets (not avoid ALA Batman, but actually see the trigger pulled, and move FASTER than a bullet) and at other points, he is an olympic level athlete. At some points, he can fling dumpsters, and hang with people like the hulk, and then he gets KO'ed by daredevil with a weight.
That, and he has a limitless following by all the comic book geeks that spend all day imagining themselves as a 'rough, sexy, powerful super soldier with a don't-give-a-damn attitude...blah blah blah'. This overly-large and demanding fan-following leads to him defeating people he has no business defeating. This leads to extreme fanboyism. And things like that are just annoying and bothersome.
Meh. Wolverine is still one of the most over rated and over hyped superhero's. Survive a nuke? No. ****ing. Way. *shakes head*
