hes definately good standings strength wise in contrast to superman

from what i can see most of DC characters are so overated its not funny, but to be fair marvel has wolvie the supreme GOD

Doesn't mean he's on the same lv as Superman. Superman and Silver Surfer are both fast, but does that mean Superman is as fast as SS? no.

i was jsut saying, SS is a contender, as in, his punches wouldent bounce off of Superman
which is why i said "in contrast"

Durability, and strength are two totally different things.

Oh, well anyways I was mainly talking to Soljer who stated that Silver Surfer was stronger than Superman. 😉

I don't think I said that the Surfer was Superman's better in strength, I do believe I said that he was Superman's equal. Or in superman's league. Or some such. Besides that, the Surfer is much faster as well, and as we have seen time and time again on these forums, speed is much more important than strength.

Anyways, on earth, Superman is at the very least Silver Surfer's equal when it comes to speed. Surfer rarely if ever travels beyond mach 10 in Earth's atmosphere. Besides, Surfer's travelling pace is very different from his combat speed. Superman has proven himself to be one of the best fighter when he utilizes his combat speed.

Heh, my mistake batdude. I more than likely meant that the surfer is more powerful, as in, can call on more powers to suit him, and has more power at his disposal by using the power cosmic. Not that he is physically stronger. Word games, my friend.
