Why does no one understand this? Bobby can control liquid, solid, and gaseous H2O. Evaporation is not a method to his defeat. He could simply re-condense the vapor in the area into water, or, if he chose, sublimate the gas straight into ice.

Of course he SHOULD have lost his powers, but Marvel pulled a copout and undid the big shock factor of House of M #8 🙁

Thats because everyone had a fit when they did that. And to me it makes sense that his secondary mutation was taken away (its like he had two powers, and only one of them was "deleted"😉

Iceman manipulates Torch's blood in seconds. Even in his early X-Factor days Iceman faired very well against firey opponents.

Yeah there was this one alien girl that had a firey form that Iceman snuffed by containing her in ice. and as she'd start to melt the inside he'd replace the outside until she had depleted all of the oxygen and her flames could no longer be sustained.
