wolvie kind of did though 😕 I mean that was wolverine's job.. but again.. i hardly think in that particular instance it was a fair KO whatsoever..

while the two were fighting they were on pretty level ground with one another.. wolverine's speed easily outmatching hulk's...

but after they woke up... again.. hulks healing factor>>>>wolverine's he was fine while wolverine was still dazed, then he slams a chained up defensless wolverine, THEN he punches wolverine when wolverine's not looking.. how is that fair?

Caps shield was made from vibrainum, steel alloy and another thing that is unknown.

What the government used to create adamantium is unknown.

They just say its a secret.

But then if its a secret how do they know it doesn't have it in it?

Wolverine did it to Hulk first right before they both got knocked out.

So, i think its fair since Wolverine tried a unsuccessful cheap shot first.

I remember it being stated before in either an Avengers issue or a Captain America one. Not what the ingredients where just that vibranium wasn't one of them, they were very keen on that.

the retcon (and it was a retcon because for years the shield was said to be a vibranium/adamantium alloy) happened in the 2001 or 2002 avengers annual and you're right - to the best of my knowledge, it is still 'secret'. my guess -- marvel felt too stupid to come up with something new considering the fact that they put adamantium in a shield that exist several years BEFORE adamantium was first developed!!

when i first came on the forum i had forgotten about the retcon but argued that the shield WAS stronger than adamantium. 😆 i fondly recall some of the . . . antagonists telling me i was full of crap. i admitted i forgot bout the retcon -- funny thing though -- none of THEM ever admitted to being wrong about the shield being stronger than adamantium!! 😉

Actully with most of them it would be some close fights except KK who should not be there at all. I couldn't say about thing since so many of there meetings are contradictory. Nah I'm not sure about that. I give them about 5/5 without prep. I didn't mean DD and cap need prep but cap and DD are both also good fights for him.
