I Cannot Recall the title of a Sega Genesis Game

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone remembers a genesis game, where you play as an almost naked man running around a very dreary setting, who looks kind of like Jesus. You fight these giant men at certain parts of the first level, too, and they have chains, and similar weapons. Does anyone remember the name of this sega game?

Is it that game where the guy runs around in white boxers with hearts on them.
At least he did in some game for the Xbox. I don't know if it was around on the Sega Genesis.

I think it is Ghosts and Ghouls. Everytime you get damage your armour would disappear. Or it could be RAMPAGE everytime your monster dies you shrink to human size and are completely naked.

no, it's not ghosts n goblins, or super ghouls n ghosts. i know those games, and those aren't it. it's not altered beast or golden axe either. i don't think this was a very well known game at all. probably a flop. but i just can't think of the name of it, it's been so long. it was a very dismal game environment. the guy was always half-nude, and all he had was some weapon. can't even remember what weapon, but somehow i gotta figure out what game that was. i'm positive it was for sega genesis, no doubt it my mind. i was only a kid when i played it, which is why i don't think i ever made it past the first level. pretty tough game.

i found the freakin game. it's called shadow of the beast II.

just downloaded the game, and this is defenitely the one. you were close, but it's called shadow of the beast II
