Hi, I'm new to the forum. I always wanted to see a Magneto storm fight since they have similar elemental powers.
I think storm could stand a chance.
Heat destroys magnetism a super-heated tropical vortex produced by strom would weaken Mags just enough for her to electricute him, or she could open up a small opening in the ozone layer for the direct heat from the sun to disrupt his magnetism
a large enough charge from lightning could reverse his polarity(storm has created lightining strong enough to effect the SILVER SURFER while on EARTH). I have yet to see storm hit mag's with a full fledged lightning bolt, only bio-lightning from her hands. Storm has hit Polaris with a pretty juiced up lightining bolt that overwhelmed her, although Polaris is not Magneto.
Storm can see and control the energy Patterns in EVERYTHING.This CAN include the nervous system or the electrical impulses in the brain. Essentially she could fry his brain in THEORY
Air Pressure--Strom doesn't have to to directly fire wind or electricity at Magneto. She can make the enviroment INSIDE his sheild quite hostile by munipulating the air pressure or tempreture. Mags has NO defense against air attacks. Storm should have NO problem doing this since her control over the weather is so refined she can created percipitaion INSIDE over a small area to water her plants.
I don't know if Magneto could easily munipulate her with magnetism as to "giver her a stroke" since storm has a naturally high electric feild around her that interferes with the strongest telepaths, Mags does NOT. Thus, he has to wear that helmet.
Storm has some control over "space weather"--solar winds, Jovian pressure, stars--Storm did absorb the glactic core or something.

I'm a huge fan of magneto and storm but magneto haves storm in this battle because of that move alone.
Storm would have a chance to freeze magneto if he diden't have that move.
