When Jean is within the crystal in New X-men she is beckoned to follow the other avatars from the city into the white light:

The crsytal is only an access point.

It says so in the Bio though...she entered the crystal which lead her to the WHR which is the city of the Phoenix Corps apparently.(From the Bio)...different artistic impressions of the same thing.

Its not different artistic impressions because the city is depicted within New X-men but then a white light within the city is depicted and the phoenixes are shown flying off into it. In Uncanny X-men the white Hot Room is depicted as a white glowing place. Theres consistency. Saying that the White Hot Room is within the city doesnt in any way mean the city is the white hot room. It can just as easily mean the white hot room can be reached via the city.

Either way the crystal is an access point to the white hot room, the Phoenix Consciousness exists in the white hot room no direct connection is made between this consciousness and the sign of sentience shown by the crystal. Youre speculating.

I'm not the only one who who interpreted it this way. The Consciousness directs Jean to the WHT where she does her Phoenix Work...notice how Jean never steps into the white light even though the crystal tells her to go to the Hospital(WHR).

I hated the art in Phoenix Warsong i loved Endsongs WAY WAY WAY better!!!i though warsong was crapy

I read endsong, and got the comics too. hah i just fell out of the loop for about a year.. hah

I hate how some comics are overly cartoonish. Anyway I guess no1s got this comic in a .cbr at all? =/
