with longshot, darwin and lifeguard there should be enough PIS in my lineup to deal with most problems

um....let me think.....shadowcat? They're ROBOTS...her phasing wud short-circuit them and destroy them. I think shadowcat cud do each stage by herself....wat's gonna stop her? Her only problem is herself...how long can she stay phased...(r we using default shadowcat i.e. she is not naturally phased, and when phased she is able to breathe if oxygen is passing through her body)....in which case a very long time!!

All the X-Men except Darwin get stopped by Nimrods Mutant Gene Dampener devices.

Darwin is probably the only one who can clear the Gauntlet. As his ability will allow him to evolve to the state where his Gene isn't affected by Nimrods X-Gene Suppressors.(Talk about your Plot Devices)

Give it awhile and Darwin will just evolve to beat them all. 😉

Darwin inhabits Juggernauts body, makes him an Omega, Professor X gives him psychic shielding from afar and Forge gives him some cool toys to go at it.

Wait, I though the Nimrods needed a while before they cud develop a way to counter a mutant power - usually they wud only b reddy in time for a second encounter no? In that case shadowcat cud still do it.

Nope, in New X-Men Stryker uses Nimrods arm to infiltrate the mansion through the front door and render every single mutant useless. Elixir only managed to take him out because Styker is a human psycho and loves to talk. If it was Nimrod everyone would have been dead by now.
He's a sentinel from the future and has files on everyone. There's no escape for the mutants.(Except Darwin)

i find this a nice little interesting team. with a mix of ability and skills. i think warlock could realy do some damage if he realy applied to himself.. and of cource he isnt a mutant which is good.

the magneto strategy has been described before, as has shadowcat

M is the mutant supergirl and realy cool she could do some good stuff
Banshee is a tactician, and sonic vibration powers could realy arugment magnetos

colosuss is the tank here lots of a damage but not too quick unlike jaime madrox that can do lots of small amount of damage with his dupes when the damage is mulltiplied 🙂
