Who cares if they are or not? I think it's a good idea.

I didn't like Aqualad's hair but other than that he was cool.

Robin on the other hand looked horrible.

Green Lantern looks okay. But he reminds me of Green Arrow for some reason.

Superman looks horrible. What the f*** are those spider webs on his shoulders?

The Batman outfit looks very cool but I would touch up the gadget attachments.

Wonder Woman looks okay. The main body piece is good. But I don't dig the "look I have no nose!" noseguard for her tiara. The bracelets could have been designed better. I hate the boots.....

I REALLY like the Flash outfit! That's cool-looking.

I swear. The more artists try to make something "cool" the worse it looks. These are comic books. They should realize it's ok to be a little cheesy.

I agree, I like some of the "cool" looks, but sometimes they go overboard. That's why when they updated everyone else, I'm glad they left Spider-Man alone in the Ultimate Universe. His costume is exactly what a fifteen year old boy would go out in if he attained superpowers and thought he would be so awesome.

I do like when they make costumes look more realistic though, but this has to be differentiated from making them "cooler." Artists like Joe Bennett leave the costume design alone, but touch it up by adding textures to the costume fabric, drawing in where seams and zippers would be, etc. He left Captain America and Falcon's costumes alone, but made them look better by making them look more believable, with just a few extra lines to make it look like an actually tailored piece of clothing. Same with his tenures on Hawkman and Birds of Prey. Same costumes, just a new vibrancy to them.

not me i wouldent were any costume id just dress normal and if a super villain tryed to exploit that fact id kill them not send them to jail becaues no point if their just gonna break out (unless their just like regular robbers id just make them go crazy) 😎
