i don't know about linda danvers but the fantastic four have a decent chance against the newer supergirl surely.

Nah. Kara proved herself to be conclusively above Superman's average power levels and isn't as prone to holding back.

didn't batman say that they hadn't measured her power levels in superman/batman. So she could be weaker for all we know (giving the FF a chance)

Supergirl #5 showed Superman had to drop a few mental blocks to pass her power level. Earlier than that even Clark thought she was more powerful than he was.

So yeah, she is above his day to day power level. 😉

I'm not disputing that. From what I gather from issues 1-5 of her current series, she's slightly stronger than Wonder Woman though not nearly as skilled which is supported by Diana's line to her in #5. Then again, official company tagline is that WW is DC's strongest female. Perhaps they're equals.
