journalism is reporting news a.k.a. a direct presentation of facts. although journalists tend to be bias in how they present such news and in their selection of what has priority, they still present fact. someone who just talks shit in literal form is not a journalist. if im wrong on that...then i guess we're all journalists and i for one am pissed off that i never got my check in the mail for all my hard work here.
I checked out the forum that Robtard was discussing earlier, and there are many (if not most in that forum) who think that Coulter, Limbaugh and O'Rielyy preach Gospel, that Bush is the second coming of christ and that the right can do no wrong.
I raised a little hell only because there really is no sense in trying to talk intelligently to any of those people.
It's a scary world when people buy into Coulter's (and her ilk's) line of thinking. And apparently, there are quite a few out there who do.

The problem is that PROPER debating and argumentation is being drowned completely. I find it disturbing that by voicing an opinion, a person is immediately accused of either being a tree-hugging liberal or a Bush-worshipping conservative.

I remember the first time a Danish TV-station aired a program on Rush Limbaugh. My brain rotted. I had NEVER heard so much hate being publicly and openly presented without proof or anything remotely like that, but merely as FACTS. Period.
I think perhaps the questions are: WHY do people listen to his absolutist hate-mongering? And why are yellers getting increasingly more attention?
