Everyone's a ****in critic, people just love to hate Beckham, he gets the job done and most of the time he gets it done well.
Like do you have valid reasons why you think he's overrated or do you just hate him cause it's the in thing to do?

Like for example the Ronaldo I mentioned is the Portuguese one, Christiano, and I'll be the first to say that his performance on Sunday was sub par, but it doesn't make him any less talented cause he ****ed up during one game 😬 People claim that he's overrated, but he has the skill to back it. Although that being said, that whole game was a hideous display for Portugal.

And are you and Argentina fan or a Messi fan alone? 🙂
Because to be honest I don't see an amazing talent there.

I can name enough players that are in the Argentina team that could out-play Beckham or Christiano Ronaldo. 😬
Riquelme,lazy ass hell,has more skill,so does Messi.

I think he has staying power and that's essential. The celebrity is just a crux because now people judge him before they watch him. He's still just human after all.
Not to mention even if he is just good for corner and free kicks at least he has that. It's better to be exceptional at one thing than be average at everything. If I was a coach for example I'd make up my team of people who have excellency in different skills and not just all around rounded to be average.

And I mean Messi, don't get me wrong, he has talent, nothing amazing imo though.
That being said are you Argentinian? Is this like patriotic pride? Or are they just your favourite team? Portuguese people I know are bad like that, they turn a blind eye to all the mistakes the team makes because they're so hard core patriotic.

Beause I'm by no means English, Portuguese, German, Swedish, Brazilian, or Italian, just my players are.

Also I'm letting you know, I've just recently become a soccer convert so I won't be any use if you begin mentioning great players from the past, I've no history on the sport. 😄

Most of my favourite players are Offensive Midfielders:Ronaldinho,Maradonna,Cruyff.
Most of my all-time favourites are retired anyway...

Yes I know they're mostly strikers, I pointed out before that that's my favourite position, I've no talent in making up a dream team because they are mostly strikers. 🙂

I can appreciate Ronaldinho and I admit he does have skills.
Meh like I said not a huge football fan, the only players I know who are retired are like Pele and Beckenbauer 😂

Cruyff and Beckenbauer both played around the same times.Both in the 70's.Cruyff is probably the best Dutch player ever.With Marco van Basten. 😬 (Who also is an example of a great striker,check out his goal against the Sovjet's in the final of the European Championships of '88)
