first comic was rad. i think though the the empire will split and they will either help the jedi or help themselves.

Darth maul is badass in these comics...

The splitting of the Empire seems pretty definite. Knowing how the Empire rolls, they'll try to help themselves first, then realize they need the Jedi, and so on...

Maul isn't in these comics, Legion. 😐

I haven't read it yet, so my judgements aren't final or anything, but, here's my discrepancies thus far:

The Jedi being slaughtered again, like you said. Honestly, they just rebuilt themselves, and are supposed to be far better then their Old Republic counterparts. Killing them off again just seems... I don't know, useless, and I feel ultimatley hurts the SW universe more then anything. You can do more for a story with a bunch of Jedi then with a bunch opf dead Jedi.

Other then that, I only have one more big discrepancy, and it's a BIG one.

It counteracts the prophecy. Vader brought balance to the Force, destroyed the Sith. Other EU has sort of adhered to this and not siginficantly conflicted with Star Wars canon. The Dark Side still existed because it wasn't the Dark Side that caused imbalance, but rather the Sith who were a cancer in the Force. By destroying the Sith, balance was restored. That's why other EU used Dark Jedi, but not Sith.

By reviving the Sith, that's not only a bold faced thing to do, but is in complete, direct disagreement with Star Wars canon. The Sith are not supposed to come back, EVER, and yet: here they are.

Yeah, that is the huge thing that most fans are concerned about. I'm a little skeptical as well, but I'll wait to see how they handle it.

The writer said something along the lines of "don't worry right now, just wait and see how it turns out."

Chances are they'll have some sort of reason why the Sith are back and hopefully they will make it so that it doesn't contradict the prophecy... Personally, I have no idea how they could. I mean, the Sith are back, so that's going against the prophecy all by itself.

OTHER than that, I think the series will be pretty good. The first issue was decent. I'll keep reading.

sarcasm? 😄

Uh, no.

Yeah, I had a big issue with the revival of the Sith in this comic series. However...I'm sure they'll find a way to say 'This is why they're back.' They could even take the route that they are self-proclaimed not true Sith Lords like Palpatine and Vader long before them.

Yeah, like the Kotor sith lords. Not true sith.

Eh, not what I meant by 'not true Sith.' None of these Sith are Sith species, obviously. But the Sith Lords in KOTOR are actually of the Sith Order.

Was the sith order in the KOTOR series not a fake?

Well Revan certainly had some unorthodox views (being almost gray)... but he was a Dark Lord not some fake as you seem to think.

Malak was your typical, "ARG KILL THEM ALL!" kind of Sith so I would say he is a Sith was well.

While they are self-proclaimed, they did have Sith teachings from somewhere. Darth Revan, Malak, Traya, Nihilus, and Sion were all Sith Lords and Apprentices and whatnot.

As far as I'm concerned, Palpatine is the last Sith.

These Stradleyspawns can call themselves whatever they want; they're not any more "Sith" than people like Jerec, Desann and Lumiya.

Indeed.

This series looks great. Loving the Emperial Knights and New Sith Order. I'm most looking forward to seeing the Emperor in action.

who's the human looking sith that has red skin and tattoos that is bald?

Probably someone generic. The Sith Lords that have been named are not human.

Krayt is human.

unidentified sith kinda looks like maul a little.

Is their some way I can be a cheap ass and just read the comics online? I don't really have any good comic book sources were I live, and Im not paying 6 bucks to have it mailed to me via internet.

Well Krayt could possibly be human.

@Stryfe, is this the one?
