If I'm wrong, it's ok, my memory is ****ed but I do know Doom attacked by suprise and with prep and from behind.
The three times Doom fought Strange without all those, he got spanked...as he should.

And Doom would never beat Strange without prep or PIS and Strange would totally fornicate Doom's eyehole if Strange got prep as well.

This was the 13th or 14th page where Doom saw an energy signature and wanted to investigate.
Surfer was so weak he couldn't fly and Strange was in a coma So doom attacked....that's not a good Doom feat, man..ESPECIALLY since Doom had prep.
Surfer got blindsided and so did the very drained Strange. Again, Doom knows better than to take on Strange or even Surfer by himself without prep and suprise.
Dude, show the scans then that I'm "missing".

And Surfer was wide awake at that time they fought....
He didn't use any prep to punk Surfer there or Strange.
He used Doombots and a energy blast, those are things he always uses.

Let's also not forget that SS is supposed to have cosmic awareness and yet Doom was able to sneak up on him. ✅
All in all Doom is not winning against WW without prep.no2
Was Surfer Awake? Yes. Was he too tired to talk to fly? Yes. Was his cosmic energy drained to nearly nothing? Yes.
Was Strange Blinsided? Yes. Was Strange super weak from being forced by the soul gem to enter the trance? Yes. Did Strange REFUSE to fight Doom by request of Warlock due to the circumstances and the fact Strange is vital to start the war against the IG and wasn't willing to risk being hurt? Yes.
Does Doom always have Bots? No. Did Doom prepare then? Yes. Was it PIS? Yes.

Those robot shouldn't hold Strange more than a nanosecond before he teleports instantly away or transmutes them into paper (He's turned adamantium to paper before) or simply just stopped time and left. He didn't do anything like that before of PIS. The story needed to keep moving.
