Magneto has unlimited control over the electromagnetic spectrum. UV energy from the sun that gives Superman his powers is included in that. Magneto can absorb it making Superman weak, and then he can defeat him with ease. As long as Magneto's force field is up he will have the time to do this to him without Superman taking him out. That is what I meant dumba$$.
