world cup football?

Is that still the World Series? Or is that just allowing teams that are good?

If that's the case, USA can kiss their ticket to the World Cup goodbye unless they get better.

No, its not the World Series... its the World Baseball Classic, an baseball tournment that countries take part in, like the ones I mentioned.

The World Series is the playoff in Major League Baseball. Countries have nothing to do with this.

I think it is called the world series because the players are from all over the world....

Soccer/Football/futbol IS all over the world and it makes alot of sence.

Basketball is also an international sport but they only do touranment for thgat in the olympics. Same with baseball

BUT IT is Football. ( soccer is the italian word for football) everyone else in the world calls it football. Its even in the name FIFA....... football association

And only 2 countries i know of play " american football" how can you play world cup " american football' when two countries play it seriously??????? Besides american football is a pansy game, Rugby is FAR better, lol.

baseball started a world tournament this year, and basketball plays internationaly too. American style football does have teams in canada and europe, but a world wide tournament would be stupid because it would be an NFL pro-bowl team against no bodies.
