To those who think it could be resisted, no ones immune to it, it worked on Juggernaut, Wolverine, Ghost Rider, Venom, Deadpool, Sersi, the Thing, Thor, and Sentry. All of them are highly resistant or immune to disease, and Juggernaut had impenetrable skin.
People that survive - those who get off Earth first, anyone that tries to fight is dead or zombified.

There's no telling what condition any of those characters were in when they were infected, how they got infected, or how they compare to their 616 counterparts.
