Mider, did he make an army of Spectres in DOV?? Which issue? And i don't care if he had the power of the Presence in that lightning bolt on his chest. If all he does with the power is punch and punch harder, and it only equals atomic bombs, small ones at that, I don't see how somebody throwing entire planets CAN'T trump those punches.
Those punches hurt worse than getting hit with planet. He had entire pantheons of gods, and many high end powers feeding into him. Phantom Stranger for example. Captain Marvel was beggining to draw power from around the universe and still couldn't stop Spectre from completing his task. All Day of Vengeance really showed is that once again- you don't stop Spectre, only slow him down. God had to intervene to finally put an end to him. In the Aquaman tie in, he crushed Atlantis [which has some of the most powerful mages in DC in it.] When he was fighting Nabu in the Special, Nabu kept commenting that Spectre could have killed him in an instant, at one point he even asked him about it.. "Why are you taking so long to kill me?" Spectre replied "Because the time I spend is not what is important, just that it is done." But near the end of IC: DOV-Special, once he finally goaded Spectre into losing control. One move and it was over. Oh, and if you'll notice there in some of the panels, they're larger than cities... then larger than worlds.. . in one panel Spectre's form is far off in the backround and still larger on panel than several planets in front him... Nearly the size of a solar system himself. Throwing a planet on an unleashing Spectre is doing nothing. But the whole series can be summed up by what Spectre told Nabu... it doesn't matter how long it takes, just that he got it done.. and he did.
