wow you bad girl 😛

Amsterdam is a shithole, man. Holland has some remarkably gorgeous places though.

It's not really a pickle though, your dilemma. The solution is quite clearly to study.

I never took French. I can't remember ever really studying for Spanish though.

Romance languages are nummers. mmm I'm glad I know Spanish.

I want to be fluent, but I'm not. I'm hoping that spending some time in Spain will help.

Maybe. They speak fast over there though. Spain is the proper Spanish, even I think the accent is a bit funny. I guess that's because Puerto Rican is like the Ebonics of Spanish.

I'm learning Portuguese right now, it's tough.

Portuguese is so similar to Spanish that I can almost hold a conversation. I should take the time to learn the differences, then brag about knowing 3 languages.

But yea, new grammar is hard to learn in any language when your primary language is English. English is...unique. Almost.

It seems that English is the default language really. It's the universal language that everyone tries to speak to each other in.

Everyone probably knows some English, some how.

English has to be the most difficult language in the world. I've been told that I have a "flair" for languages. I pick up languages very quickly. Besides, I'm getting used to listening to people speak quick Spanish by going to the local Mexican restuarant, where the only people that speak English are the waiters, and by watching Spanish television. I was so proud of myself when I understood a whole episode of "Dora, la Exploradora" that it was almost embarassing. 😬
