no, it would be for me to think gay is wrong, i dont think it is but dont want it done in front of me 😘

Homophobia is an antipathy, not a anti-homosexualist or to be scared of homosexuals, so you're saying you dislike gays or bisexuals (well, two men) kissing in front of you. Homophobia...

Its still an antipathy, are you disgusted by their eating habits? or do you just dislike the way they take up to much space? Its still an antipathy

All these examples, especcialy the one about 80 year olds, are just examples of things we find disgusting, it's like we have anything against the people that are being disgusting.

So, AJ, do you become physically ill when you see two women kissing?

Lesbians are gross. 😛

I am not attracted to women, and I don't think it's gross to see them kiss.

Now I understand you aren't for homophobia, but it's kind of speaking out both sides of your mouth when you say that it's okay for boys to kiss as long as they don't do it in front of you. How about holding hands?

Now, I agree that hugely overblown displays of affection in public are inappropriate. But if I can't hold my significant other's hand in public, then I don't think anyone else should be allowed to do so. Or pray over their Wendy's chili in public. Or any number of "private" displays of emotion.

I don't care if people want to pray in public. But realize it's just as inappropriate as any number of other things. Handle it with a level mind and everyone comes out for the better.

lol@ wendy's chili

I agree it was just comical, living in the Midwest its just something I could imagine happening, pray over chilli and throw stones at interracial couples like an hour later, midwest, USA what can I say.

Exactly! And when I mentioned the Wendys chili, I was reffering to an actual experience. When I lived in North Carolina I went to Wendys with my mother once and I noticed that the man and woman across from us were praying over their chili and baked potatoe, respectively. And couldn't help but feel this overwhelming sense of hatred towards them. This was odd for me, I went to catholic school my whole life. Prayer was nothing foreign to me. But I also knew that the two of them fit a profile for the kind of people that would scream if you removed the ten commandments from the front of a court house but would think that court house had no right to allow a black person teh same rights as a white.

I always feel incredibly uncomfortable when a pray over a meal in public. I could swear everyone stares at me.

But you still do it, right? And that's good. Don't let other people make you change. But that faith can't turn into hate or descrimination, otherwise you'll be a hypocrite
