Call of Duty 3

So did anyone get this game yet? How is it?

I havnt played it but by reviews, its pretty much anothe Call of Duty game.

Its done very well, and if you like that game, you'll have a blast. The battles are something to be seen due to heavy scripted events. MP also was reworked and is very good.

But nothing matters because they released this game the same day as Gears Of War. Probably should of waited two weeks from now so people who are done Gears Of War can get thier shooter fix.

Anyone got it yet? I was thinking about getting it on Xbox today but I really want it on PC so I can max out my performance so Im gonna wait, but they say they dont know the release date for it on PC.

It says multiplayer maps are 5x bigger than previous COD games, are they really that massive? And do they include some of the older maps? I'd love to play the Tunisia map again that one owns.

IM renting today...I was thinking of buying it but there is soo many games out there and Rainbow Six looks awesome...so im renting.

Good game...too much like all the other Call Of Duty's.

I have a problem with multiplayer....I cant get into games....what the **** am I doing wrong?

Yeah me neither, but I asked 2 different game stores and they checked their computers and said their suppliers had it listed for PC but no release date, otherwise I would have just put up with the xbox version.

What are the campaigns like?

Same old.

Alright, I am thinking about getting this game for the 360, but I have heard good and bad for it, from the commercials for it, I saw one of the trooper guys doing blind fire, does that mean there is a cover system? If so, how does it work? And how is the whole close quarters system work? Are all the controls smooth as the other Call of Duty games? I saw the graphics and they look AMAZING.

If anybody could answer these questions for me, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

All I can tell you is that this is a pretty solid shooter.

It brings nothing new to the table but if you're into it then there's no reason not to buy it.

Nothing new to the Call of Duty series or shooters in general? Because I am still wondering about the cover system, is it the same as the other Call of Duty games, or is there something similar to G.R.A.W. OR Gears?

There is no cover system. I have Call of Duty 3 and it pretty much is the same as Call of Duty 2 the only difference is the online. There are more classes to choose from and there are new modes to play.

It was propbably the AI because they do that but there is now cover system.

There is none 😛 The AI has a cover system that they can use, but you still get nothing, the exact same as the other COD games. They can also blindfire at you too, which makes things kind of difficult...

Yeah but what do you mean they have a cover system? Like...they're just smarter at not getting shot?
