It is assumed that each contestant will fight to his/her best ability, but still within the character's personality, unless specified otherwise. That means they will use any powers at their disposal . For example, even though The Flash doesn't clock each of his own opponents in the first picosecond in his own comic, it is assumed that is a viable tactic on this board since it is a proven fact that he possesses that level of speed.
It is also assumed that the characters fight at their optimum levels of ability - not explicitly weakened or unusually powered up for those who have variable power levels.

One-off displays of abilities are very iffy, unless characters do things regularly or at least multiple times the ability can just be deus ex machina/plot device on the part of the writers. So when people do bring up obscure powers I'd like to know how often they've been shown. As has already been brought up things like soulvision etc

Wonder Woman is easily Cap's equal. Plus she doesn't have the magic weakness like Superman does. 😉

He never said there was any relativity to it. He only said it because I was teetering on whether or not she could lift it. He mentioned it was non cannon so there wasn't a need for the kingdom come remark. And of course cap is better until you add experience, skills and weaponry.

Superman overall is more powerful than Captain Marvel. The only reason why he is capable of competing with him, is because of Superman's weakness to magic. Wonder Woman doesn't have to worry about that because her powers stem from magical roots. However, Wonder Woman has definitely got Cap licked in the skill department. 😉
