Pre-Crisis Darkseid w/ the Anti Life Equation vs. Thanos w/ the Infinity Gauntlet

I'm new here if you all can't tell, and this is my first post. I recently read a thread in which a member named Draco69 compared the Anti-Life Equation to the Infinity Gauntlet. This reminded me about how some of the members always like to compare Darkseid and Thanos. I personally think that Darkseid would win in a fight. Of course, I realize now that Darkseid has the Anti-Life Equation, so I was wondering how he would fare against Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet. Please respond, and go easy... I'm a n00b. 🙂

p.s. Please no PIS or CIS or any of that crap. I want to know how the characters would perform written correctly.

Thank you for your reply, but please tell me, how would Thanos defeat Darkseid? Surely he'd put up some sort of fight. The Anti-Life Equation must mean something...

Darkseid wins. after Thanos wins. See. Thanos has the habit of treating the universe as his own personal chew toy. He beats it up over and over again. And then. Gives all his power away, and lets himself get beaten up. Even if Thanos would obliterate Darkseid. He'd get bored with it and let himself get beaten. Whereas Darkseid wouldn't job to Thanos, since Thanos doesn't wear a big red S on his shirt.

I don't know the strength of the ALE. I'm just saying... Even if Thanos had the heads up. He'd give it away like a girl at mardi gras.

Uh, you DO know that Pre-Crisis Darkseid was on par with Galactus, right?

Yeah, I've been reading some posts long before I made my first thread, and some members have made it pretty clear that Pre-Crisis Darkseid was on par with big G. What does the Anti-Life Equation grant Darkseid though? Does it only do what its namesake expresses? It seems like someone who has the Infinity Gauntlet has more options to defeat their opponent. Is the Anti-Life Equation just too powerful?

this is what i do not understand the ALE is a multiversal thing its not just one universe it was used to defeat an multiversal enemy of the source, the IG on the other hand is by whatever creature made the universe and when was it ever stated it made the multiverse, mephesto said it made him for company then killed itself and became the IG gems

is the highfather no the same level as odin?

pc darkseid was able to match strength with highfather, and all im getting at, is highfather on the same level as odin.

because if he is, that means that pc darkseid, isnt on the same level as galactus.

PC Darkseid was only equal with Galactus at both their conceptions. One has went up, while the other went down. Even before COIE, Galactus was outta reach to Darkseid. Galactus was the third force of the universe, while Darkseid was a powerful, prominent skyfather. They haven't been equal since Galactus got upgraded.

Mr. Master has already proven that Classic IG is MULTIVERSAL IN POWER...

As of now, I beleive Thanos takes this.

Been there, done that.

Thanos with IG:

1) Destoyed half the Universe with a snap of his fingers

2) Created an alternate reality where the world "NEcronos" existed, in the original Silver Surfer series that took place during IG SAGA, but contradicted actual IG event...therefore counts as an alternate reality.

3) Defeated Marvel 616 Universe's entire cosmic heirarchy (Pheonix wasn't present, nor was Infiniti, but at the time Eternity was the boss)

4) Galactus even stated with with HIS POWER (and remmeber Galactus has the power to destroy the Universe himself when he is well FED and at full power), is NOTHING compared to Thanos with IG.

5) Caused MArvel Universe 616 Earth to clash with the NEgative Zone, his release of power tore reality apart, ripping the universe into contact with another universe.

6) Obviously, classic IG (thanos or Adam) is multiversal in power do to the feats, even MAGUS with an incomplete IG was able to create numerous realities.

7) Thanos in Thanos Quest stated that with IG, even Heaven and Hell are subject to him (the souls of the dead...heaven and hell mine to choose)

Adam Warlock with IG:

1) Able to be omnipresent in Time. Time was a repeating loop to him, he existed in all moments he stated.

2) Caused Chaos in Lt's court, only Living Tribunal was able to defy IG in any way shape or form.
