Vader can use force lightning?

Started by Darth_Malazia2 pages

I think it would work however he could only use it for a short time before it fried him into a large hunk of leather covered Bacon

Well, whichever hand Vader used would be fried and he wouldn't be able to use it until it was repaired or replaced...

Actually, in the ROTS novelization, Palpatine remarks on how Vader would never be able to use Force lightning, as it required at least one biological limb to channel it through.

Take that signature down, Sorgo.

And we realize that. If he didn't have the hand in the way, he probably could. But he'd fry himself with the hand in the way.

Is this canon? ...Hmmm... http://www.swcomics.com/Empire_Era2_c.php?i=22&f=22&name=Splinter_of_the_Minds_Eye_Part_4_of_4

Splinter of the Minds Eye, what a silly comic.

Anyway, can he?

No he has no limbs that are organic. Therefore, since the force is harnessed through an adapts physical, flesh body, mechanical limbs impede the force wielder growth in more complex areas of the force.

Reference: Legacy of the Force: Blood Lines. (Or Betrayal which ever one is first).

I think it was also in Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, too.

yes but i dont know if this game is canon, but he demonstrated lightning but a different variation, it comes directly from the air, not his hands
i dont know but maybe he used nature as a weapon? using the force to target an enemy and lightning from the sky maybe,
as master Ood the tree did in DEII
