You are sadly mistaken. Again, I suggest you listen to them before labeling them as emo. I really have no idea where you got the emo from. They don't sound emo, they don't look emo, they don't act emo and they are not the sub-genre of emo. They fit into the sub-genres of Progressive Metal and Power Metal.

Edit: Devin Townshend is okay. But if you compare his guitar work to the work of Herman Li, and Sam Totman it isn't really much and seems rather slow.

I just listened to 3 of there songs and they don't sound EMO. And I agree, their drummer is pretty damn good. The guitar players are sweet 🤘 But their name is f.ucking funny 😆
