There's actually a pretty big difference. Except when someone like Thor comes along, Hulk usually faces guys who either punch or blast stuff in the Avengers. Supes faces guys in the JLA that do all that and much more. I really don't think Hulk beating down other brawlers (excluding Thor) is comparable to Superman beating down the JLA of all people, especially when you look all of their respective power levels.

Don't take it too literally though. The point I was trying to make is the idea of the JLA (especially THAT JLA lineup) not standing a chance against Superman is absolutely absurd. Put some people with that much power against Hulk and the idea would be at least as stupid.

The characters he fights all of a sudden forget all their abilities when they fight him perhaps?
