What about the time Kyle pretty much dumped the full power of the ring at Superman, at Supes just flew through it anyways and kept coming even though it was messing him up a little? Kyle was like "No fing way . . . that's impossible." Then Batman clobbered him from behind.

Or in Sacrifice when John tried to contain Supes, and Supes without even trying hard he just punched the construct into pieces and John went reeling from it?

I think a GL has the potential to beat Superman, but take it 'easily'? No.
