Now I’ve never seen any reference that I can remember that Hyperion is weak to magic. Any one got scans or bio’s that says that he is? I know that he was “killed” with Magik’s sword but that doesn’t make him weak and it did kill the wielder as well.
Every character can be defeated by magic, its just that some are super-sensitive like superman, and hence they are shown as having a weakness to magic. Just like alcohol affects everyone but some people can die from it (usually due to medication they are on) and hence those people are warned not to consume alcohol.
