Reeds theory of Sentrys origin is just that though,,,a theory. He basically just made something up that sounded good at the time and holds no clout.

Too early to make something out of that scan, he might get killed again in the next pannel, but im looking forward to see what comes next, hope they'll bring the old Sentry back. And no more killing innocent people please, id be really happy if they retcon it to be Void who did all the killing.

There were a few scans before that in which it looks like its implied that Bob appeared out of nowhere. Owen and Victoria were kind of looking in the air. It seems he blasted Owen with energy or something rather than coming out of him.
