Ok guys, No worries.. Bendis is on crack (as usual). But the books states differently. Here's the calculation. Siege Sentry is all Void-out.. total bloodlust.. Much more powerful than WWH Sentry..who was trying to control his power. And in Thor #608, Thor brought the fight to Sentry. We all know Sentry has the capability to reach Cosmic-cube level or rumored more. This is Sentry at his most bloodlusted so far... and he is out to kill Thor... and Thor is giving Sentry his fight. And according to Maria Hill's transmission in Siege#3.. the fight was possibly 17mins to 20 mins (check the time of transmission.)Which shows Thor greatness in Battle.
I agree Thor has proved his worth in battle far better than Ares could, but the Void of Siege #3 hasn't been fully unleashed. The Void, by now masquerading as the Sentry, had been escalating in power and ferocity since the Siege started. At first he only takes out Asgard's observatory and sinks Balder to the ground before apparently leaving him alone to bug someone else, later he rips Ares in half and when prompted to it takes all of Asgard down. Now Osborn made it clear the leash is off and the Void has fully transformed, which started to happen in mid-fight with Thor.
In his New Avengers story and his miniseries, the Void was similarly becoming stronger as he manifested and focused more.
But all that aside, has anybody thought this thread should be revamped into a shorter one after Siege ends?
