I'd say the ability to alter history on a whim makes him abstract.

Being able to alter time as you see fit is different then Evolving up a planet.

What is your criteria for Abstract level?

Alright, I just got back on cause I came up with an idea that will cover every problem if we can all agree on it.

How about we have a singles herald level amalgam tournament? Meaning that we each pick 3 herald level characters, and combine them to make an Amalgam skyfather. Like that, each person will show knowledge of the characters, the ability to make herald level powers work together effectively, and their debating skills. We could hold out own draft at this time tomorrow(so that no one gets left out). Like that, everyone will have at least a little bit of time to consider who they're characters will be. And the 4 winners go on to the tournament. This is just a suggestion though, I'm not trying to push the idea on you.
