Razored claws flashing and slashing, Kestrel is a killer whose talons can rip through anything, even the barriers between dimensions! In reality, he is no one person, but is instead an evil spell created by two Lords of Chaos. Kestrel's mission is to unbalance the uneasy alliance between Chaos and Order by destroying the Hawk and Dove partnership even though it's till death do them part!Created by M'Shulla and Gorrum, two Lords of Chaos, Kestrel was unleashed to destroy the Hawk and Dove "experiment" - an experiment that seeks to prove that Chaos and Order can and should work together Kestrel can only do this by killing Dove, or by forcing Hawk to reject his partner and go completely over to Chaos's side of the mystic war.
Unlike Hawk, Kestrel can change between the Kestrel and host personas at will. Also unlike Hawk, the Kestrel-force has a definite personality that can affect or completely take over its host. This personality is chillingly evil and unrelentingly homicidal.
The first body the Kestrel force took over was that of an unnamed blond man. This vessel was destroyed by M'Shulla and Gorrum when they punished Kestrel for not preventing the formation of the new Hawk and Dove team. The second time Kestrel appeared, the spell moved from host to host, leaving each previous body unharmed, until it maneuvered itself into Renata Takamori, Hank (Hawk) Hall's girlfriend. Using their combined power, Hawk and Dove were able to free Ren from the spell, with Hawk actually absorbing and subduing the manifestation.
But the Kestrel force proved difficult to contain or destroy. Kestrel returned to vex the JSA and more recently, the Teen Titans. When Kestrel attempted to kidnap Raven's soul self, the Titans - with the help of Hawk & Dove - were able to temporarily defeat Kestrel in his own realm.
Kestrel, the premier agent of the Chaos Realm, paralyzed the Titans in a bid to gain power like he's never had before and kidnapped Raven's soul self.
By limited BFR I mean that if you can convince the judges that your guy is able to knock someone to another planet, from which they can't get back, that's cool. However, your not allowed to send them to another dimension or any thing like that(cause it's a cheap ass way to win, and they never allow it in real tournaments anyway).

Alright, I just got back on cause I came up with an idea that will cover every problem if we can all agree on it.How about we have a singles herald level amalgam tournament? Meaning that we each pick 3 herald level characters, and combine them to make an Amalgam skyfather. Like that, each person will show knowledge of the characters, the ability to make herald level powers work together effectively, and their debating skills. We could hold out own draft at this time tomorrow(so that no one gets left out). Like that, everyone will have at least a little bit of time to consider who they're characters will be. And the 4 winners go on to the tournament. This is just a suggestion though, I'm not trying to push the idea on you.

Here are the rules. An amalgam is the combination of two or more characters into a single character.
You will be able to choose which characteristics are present in your amalgam.
For example:
Asgardian SuperSurfer
Superman - Body/Powers
Thor - Mind/Powers/Mjolnir
Silver Surfer - Powers/BoardRules for Characters
Certain powers are banned
1. Absorbing powers that injure the absorbed character (IE., Rogue)
2. Telepathic mind shutdowns (IE., Jean Grey causing a foe to think themsleves into death, or simply pass out)
3. Offensive organic matter manipulation (IE., Sersi turning a foe into a pig)
• Manipulating one's own organic matter to heal, or regenerate lost body parts is acceptable
4. No death touches/stares/blasts/etc (IE., Decay making a foe's body break down)
5. Reality warping (IE., Franklin Richards bending the time-space continuum to suit his will)
6. Character retrieval (IE., Rick Jones using the Destiny Force)
7. Multiplying (IE., the Multiple Man)
8. Time warping (IE., Hourman)
9. On-the-fly adaptation (IE., Doomsday's ability to come back from the dead immune to whatever killed him)
10. Mind/body swapping (IE., Doctor Doom's mind transfer)
11. Mind control (IE., Emma Frost taking over a foe's mind and using him to fight his own team, kill himself, etc.)
• A mental attack on an opponent is allowed though.
12. Power negation/boosting (IE., Fabian Cortez enhancing a mutant)
• This rule extends to anyone who can enhance a character's pre-existing powers or give them new powers entirely
Battle Information
There will be a 24 hour time period for battles. A new thread will be created for each round of the tournament. A poll will be created, and after the 24 hour time period is over, then whoever has the most votes on the poll wins.
Votes must come from board regulars. (No random new guy popping up and voting). I may invalidate any vote I see fit.
. Battlefield removals are non-existant
Prep-time will consist of three hours on the battlefield
1. To prevent premature fighting, the battlefield is split in two, right down the middle
• The battlefield split makes it impossible for teams to spy on one another via any means
G. The battlefield changes climate/location for every battle, but remains a constant 10 square miles
1. Battlefields are devoid of humans, but retain a natural abundance of common materials and animals
Examples of areas of battle:
• arctic ice field
• barren desert
• deciduous forest
• tropic jungle
• empty cavern
• metropolitan city
• The Moon
• Himalayan mountain range

Just thought of one last thing, I vote no Flash or T-Vo(because the speed force and T-vo are basically PIS personified, and we don't have time to create rules to govern them).

Alright, I've been reading up on amalgam tournaments, so here's how it goes for those who don't know. One of your characters must be designated to be the 'Body' for you amalgam. You will have this characters BASE strength, durability, and agility(though not necessarily speed). Now if your other characters have the ability to increase their strength, that can be factored in, but you DO NOT add the total strength of your characters when determine the strength of your amalgam. For instance, if two of your characters are Hulk & Superman, The best thing to do would be to designate Superman as your characters body(because his strength and durability are higher than the Hulk's base.), and then ADD the Hulks ability to increase his strength by increasing his anger. If you do it the other way around, then you would have Hulks strength, but would only benefit from Superman's if you tried to sun dip(or something to that effect).
Also, you must designate one of your characters to be the 'mind' of your amalgam. This is the character who you will draw skills and such from(though you will still have the ability to use the other characters powers as well as the originals do). Your 'mind' character is who you draw your intelligence and willpower.
Now you can mix & match your powers from different characters, but be careful, because some powers do mix well with certain minds. For instance, you pick Silver Surfer as your mind, Doomsday for your body, and add Hulk's ability to increase his strength through rage. Now the problem is, Surfers the calm type so he won't benefit much from the Hulks rage increase.
The basic goal, is to create a character that's powerful, but who's abilities still makes sense and compliment each other.
I hoped that helped anyone who was having a hard time understanding how your amalgams fit together. Just ask if you have any questions(I'll help as much as I can).

Also(I just thought of this), for those that are planning on using a Green Lantern for a part of their amalgam, remember to pick a mind for your character that has a high level of willpower. A Green Lantern's level of power with his ring, is directly related to the will of the user. So if your not going to have your Green Lantern be your mind, make sure whatever mind you DO pick, is just as willful as the GL, otherwise your effectiveness will decrease.

I think the general rule we're going for is 'Under Thanos'. Heralds themselves fluctuate in power, so I think that that would work best(besides, that's the rules official herald level tourneys go). And if anyone has objections to a character someone is picking, let it be known during the draft and we will put it to a vote(have a good reason though, don't just object because you don't like the thought of facing him). Mostly only object if you feel the character violates the rules somehow.

He doesn't sound to bad to me, but keep in mind that the fights won't be going on in his realm and only limited BFR is allowed. Also, make sure you have scans or links to back up your claims as to what he can do, bios won't cut it come Tourney time.By limited BFR I mean that if you can convince the judges that your guy is able to knock someone to another planet, from which they can't get back, that's cool.
