Dude, this is a HERALD LEVEL TOURNAMENT. If you can't see the guy, giving Silver Surfer a run for his money, then you shouldn't pick them. Thor was a good choice, just check out his respect thread.
What the hell's wrong with using him for the MIND aspect? 🙄 I was actually thinking about him myself. He's easily the smartest guy in this tourney so far. You people make it seem like ALL the characters have to be about power when there are certain characters to fill certain aspects. Last time I checked, it was
-Mind
-Power
-Body
Reed is easily a top tier genius, and furthermore, he is more than qualified to be somebody's mind aspect if they so choose...
Bigbran- Silver Surfer(body), Hal Jordan Green Lantern(mind) and Martian Manhunter(powers)
Darthgoober- Classic Juggernaut (body), Runner(powers) and Blue Energy Superman(mind)
Ext@nt- Morg(body), Krestrel(mind), and Sunstorm(powers)
Mr.Master- Gladiator, Captain Mar-Vell and Quasar
Newavenger13- Hulk(body), Blackbolt(powers) and Mr.Fantastic(mind)

Yes I know, and the choice is his, I just didn't want him being in the middle of a fight when he realizes that he picked a mid level character. All Reed brings to the table is intelligence, and his elasticity(which is cool, but you can only do so much with it).
And he's ONLY using him for the mind aspect. What exactly is wrong with that? He's not taking his power.

What? Then that completely defeats the purpose of mind, power, and body, now doesn't it? 😂
'One of your characters must be designated to be the 'Body' for you amalgam. You will have this characters BASE strength, durability, and agility(though not necessarily speed). Now if your other characters have the ability to increase their strength, that can be factored in, but you DO NOT add the total strength of your characters when determine the strength of your amalgam. For instance, if two of your characters are Hulk & Superman, The best thing to do would be to designate Superman as your characters body(because his strength and durability are higher than the Hulk's base.), and then ADD the Hulks ability to increase his strength by increasing his anger. If you do it the other way around, then you would have Hulks strength, but would only benefit from Superman's if you tried to sun dip(or something to that effect).
Also, you must designate one of your characters to be the 'mind' of your amalgam. This is the character who you will draw skills and such from(though you will still have the ability to use the other characters powers as well as the originals do). Your 'mind' character is who you draw your intelligence and willpower.
Now you can mix & match your powers from different characters, but be careful, because some powers do mix well with certain minds. For instance, you pick Silver Surfer as your mind, Doomsday for your body, and add Hulk's ability to increase his strength through rage. Now the problem is, Surfers the calm type so he won't benefit much from the Hulks rage increase.'
You got to remember man, we threw this together at the LAST second, and we were ready to do just about anything. I was never able to get a complete rundown on how amalgam tournaments were run, so I figured it out as best I could.

Yeah, I read all that. However, your mistake is the fact that they can switch off with the POWERS. That defeats the purpose of having specific mind, body, and power people for a character. If you're going to use all their powers, then they're all the 'power' characters of the amalgram. I don't know, it seems a little off to me...
