There was never a new hat draw, you dont just get to pick who I fight and decide that I go first. To be honest I think your afraid to go first.

Here. Use this as the inro post, and then in the next post, just annonce the debaters(with their characters), and the location. Then the players chose how they spend their prep time.
Welcom to the unofficial AMC mini Tournament thread. This tournaments sole purpose, is to
determine which members of the AMC will be allowed to try to register at the upcoming
tournament. Onlookers are asked NOT to post(especially info which would help one of the
contestants cases).
Now a quick rule recap for the contestants(please read carefully)...
Rules for Characters
Certain powers are banned
1. Absorbing powers that injure the absorbed character (IE., Rogue)
2. Telepathic mind shutdowns (IE., Jean Grey causing a foe to think themsleves into death,
or simply pass out)
3. Offensive organic matter manipulation (IE., Sersi turning a foe into a pig)
• Manipulating one's own organic matter to heal, or regenerate lost body parts is
acceptable
4. No death touches/stares/blasts/etc (IE., Decay making a foe's body break down)
5. Reality warping (IE., Franklin Richards bending the time-space continuum to suit his
will)
6. Character retrieval (IE., Rick Jones using the Destiny Force)
7. Multiplying (IE., the Multiple Man)
8. Time warping (IE., Hourman)
9. On-the-fly adaptation (IE., Doomsday's ability to come back from the dead immune to
whatever killed him)
10. Mind/body swapping (IE., Doctor Doom's mind transfer)
11. Mind control (IE., Emma Frost taking over a foe's mind and using him to fight his own
team, kill himself, etc.)
• A mental attack on an opponent is allowed though.
Battle Information
1. To prevent premature fighting, the battlefield is split in two, right down the middle
• The battlefield split makes it impossible for teams to spy on one another via any means
G. The battlefield changes climate/location for every battle, but remains a constant 10
square miles
1. Battlefields are devoid of humans, but retain a natural abundance of common materials
and animals
Examples of areas of battle:
• arctic ice field
• barren desert
• deciduous forest
• tropic jungle
• empty cavern
• metropolitan city
• The Moon
• Himalayan mountain range
Only limited Battle Field Removal is allowed. By limited BFR I mean that if you can
convince the judges that your guy is able to knock someone to another planet, from which
they can't get back, that's cool. However, your not allowed to send them to another
dimension or any thing like that(cause it's a cheap ass way to win, and they never allow it
in real tournaments anyway).
Each fight will last exactly 48 hours total. This will allow everyone to find any scans
that they require to counter an opponents argument or whatever. It will also allow two
people who are not on at the same time, to still be able to have a decent debate. So even
if the contestants aren't on they'll still be able to participate, the match wll just be
stalled.
Now the thing is, everyone only gets 5 total post to present your side of the fight.
Period. No one under ANY circumstances, will be allowed more than 5 official post. Not for
corrections, clarification, or any other excuse you might come up with. Any non official
post must be stated as being such, and you're not allowed to present any evidence for your
guy.
Also, you a allowed 5 post, you ARE NOT entitled to 5 post. So if you don't use all 5 of
your post within the 48 hours, you will forfeit any remaing post.
Before each match, each character will have 1 minute of prep time that he can use to create
shields, enhace abilities, etc. So in addition to your 5 official post, everyone will be
allowed ONE post to describe how you spend your prep time. Remember that all task you
describe must take less than a minute for your character to accomplish. Prep time cannot be
used for the following reasons...
-Readying an attack, like the Godwave for Wonder Woman, or the God Blast for Thor.
-Spying on your opponent.
-Pre emptive strikes
