Iron Man/Namor/Storm level unless I'm mistaken. However, from what I understand it's pretty much just becoming an "Under Herald" level thing now(but I don't know if that's official). Why are you interested?

Well Roldz is the only one who's expressed interest in participating at this point, so I'm sure there's a spot for you in the actual tourney if you want to take it. But if you'd just like to judge, you'll have to talk to Devil Lance.

Around here, a tournament is a contest using a specialized form of debating. The participants choose their characters(the characters that are eligible are determined by the power caps, and whoever is hosting the tournament), and then debate with their opponents on just WHY their character(s) will win in a fight between the two teams(or characters if it's just a singles match). The thing is, that the debates are handled in a sort of story form, following each participants opening prep post. It normally goes something like this...

Entrant 1: During my prep I do blah blah blah.
Entrant 2: During my prep I do blah blah blah.

After the "prep" period(which is normally sent in to the host by PM, so the teams don't know what the others are initially planning), then the participants spent a designated number of post(or a specific amount of time) picking apart their opponents strategy, while attempting to lend credit to their own.

Entrant 1: Well if you do (insert opponents strategy here) then my can can just respond by (insert counter strategy here). And your prep's not going to work anyway, because(insert discrediting comment questioning the validity of opponents prep time strategy).

Entrant 2. No my prep time strategy WILL work because(shows evidence to support initial claim). And if you (insert opponents counter strategy) my guy can just (insert counter, counter strategy).

And it continues for the course of the match.

The winner is decided by a team of (usually) 4 judges at the end, with a poll in place in the event of a tie. The winner(s) move on to the next round, and face whoever else has one until there is a tourney winner.

Now I probably made that all sound a lot more complicated than it really is(it's actually fairly simple), but that's basically what happens. If you want, I can post some links to past tourney matches, that way you can read up on them(like I said I probably made it sound harder than it really is).

I'm not sure if I'm in or not... I've been uber busy lately, but I would like to see a link to other tourneys and stuff, so I got an idea of what's actually going on. To be a judge, do you have to be available all day?

And as long as your able to post at somepoint on the appropriate day, you should be ok to judge. There's no specified time to judge.
