Quanchi trying to make DC characters look bad while at the same time saying he likes them = fail.

And I already explained thats just your version of events. The way I saw it Ds was going after Batman and then Superman showed up and punked him.

Darkseid has pride and to get knocked around and to flat out leave is shameful.

My version of events? That's what happened IN THE COMICS multiple times. God your completly biased

Mungi.........😬 Just put him on ignore. Everyone else has.

You are putting your own spin on things. He still had time to fight or do something but instead he chose to leave. He didnt get the staff did he?

Guys, let's keep it civil.

Quan, if you're going to report people then make sure you're not saying things like:

Own spin? Are you mad? that's what has been stated and shown countless times in the comics itself. He didn't want the Staff, he wanted his Omega Powers back, the staff was meant to help but the main plan was to regain his power he lost.

Now that I think about it, why was Desaad of all people able to use the staff? 😕 The Wonder Staff was made for Highfather, nobody else besides Takion (his hand-picked successor and someone with a direct link to the Source's power) has ever been able to use it.

Even DS and Batman shouldn't have been able to use it. I call BS on that. 👇

He didnt set out for the staff but he sure as hell wanted it. Did he intend to drop it after Batman kicked it outta his hand. Nope...he could have stayed and fought for the staff but instead evacuated.

Its canon nonetheless.

Of course he wanted it as it was extra power, but you just said that was his main goal which it wasn't. His entire goal, his entire plan was getting his powers back, whuich he did. He has left items or people in the past before, which you are ignoring once again 😬

It wasnt his goal it was Desaad's and Darkseid went along with it because on his own he really didnt have a plan. Darkseid wouldnt just leave an item of power unless you think he is an idiot. It wasnt worth getting into a physical rival of his...Superman.....thats why he left. If it was just Batman I am sure he wouldnt have fled the scene. 😉

Wrong, Desaad had to get Highfather's staff which could help reignite Darkseid's powers. No he didn't, as Desaad findng Highfather's staff in the Source Wall was a massive intellectual achievement. The staff helped to get what he wanted as his entire thing was getting his powers back...as he notes a few times in the issue. No he left as there was no need to fight, and he has done the exact same thing countless times. He got his powers back, and that's what he wanted 😬

When Darkseid does what he came to do and leaves, he's a pussy. When Thanos did the same thing in the Tyrant fight, it's because he's a real man, and real men don't need to fight when they already accomplished what they came to do.

It seems as though we keep going back and forth over these minute details. Again this whole plan was Desaad's idea and yes Darkseid didnt intend to get Highfathers staff and use it but that was definitely a bonus. He wasnt giving it up willingly. Two men took it back and Ds left rather than stay and take home a very powerful staff.

Here is the difference, Thanos left because in all likelihood he woul dhave died so staying and getting killed would have made him a moron especially when he got what he accomplished. If you are saying Darkseid would have died if he would have stayed then him leaving doesnt make him stupid at all but rather shows he has a survival instinct.

Another thing is leaving when facing Tyrant is much different as opposed to Batman and Superman. 😛

Key word it was a "bonus", but no way a critical part of his plan. He really didn't put up a fight for it, so it's pretty clear he really didn't even care. Yes it was Desaad's plan to give back Darkseid's powers, not the Highfather staff itself. He could have "stolen" it back with his beams, but he didn't. He was content with his powers returning and left.
