Can anyone tell me why hulk is a team buster, but occasionally to demonstrate the power of ONE person, they have him fight like thing or thor solo... when hulks beaten off the entire avengers before.

Thing can fight Hulk because although he cant match Hulk strength he has far superior skills, brains and speed to Hulk. 😉

However, Ben cannot beat Savage Hulk and he never has
