Originally posted by Broly92He is unbeatable, and even when he is beaten there is always an excuse, or some pis to make him beat that person the next time...example, when doomsday came back as dd rex he was beaten by sups cuz he had fear...despite the fact that sups already beat him by physcial force, so dooms shouldn't have been beaten...
There are too many reasons to state

A once good character was taken into deep, deep depths of sheer crapiness. 😘 He's worse than wolverine or the whole omega mutant thing combined.
Oh please. He's an awe inspiring iconic figure that is most well known hero of all time. He was the inspiration for future heroes. Everybody needs to respect Superman. He's the ultimate hero. At the end of the day, he's the person you want for the job because he won't give up no matter what. He may not be the most powerful hero, but he makes up for it in character, integrity, and the will to win. He's morals and values are something to look up to for children, and he sets a great example for them; which is to always do the right thing.

Both would not be what they are without Chubby Checker to influence dance and the sugarhill gang to influence Rap. Do I like the music they put out, "hell no." Just because they made it what it is doesn't mean I have to like them.

I didn't say you had to "like" him. I said you should "respect" him.
He's just not the enjoyable character to read anymore. Not to me anyway. I just dont care how many characters he inspired he's not that good of a character anymore. I work in a enviroment where you respect people who save your ass and keep the general public safe everyday, those people deserve respect. Not a badly written comic character, sorry. Respect is a word I wouldent even begin to use where comics are concerned and if I were to give it to any writtings it would be to the works of Hemingway, ect.
